🎙️ Welcome to another episode of Talk 'Radio'! This Finally Friday episode was packed with energy, insight, and plenty of reflection as we wrapped up the week and headed into the weekend. If you missed the show, don’t worry—I’ve got all the highlights right here for you!

Recapping the Week:

We kicked off the show with a look back at the week. It’s hard to believe we’re already 21.92% of the way through 2025! Time is flying by, and I shared some personal highlights from my week—some wins, a few challenges, and a whole lot of growth. I also asked you, the listeners, to reflect on your own week: What did you accomplish, and what are you looking forward to leaving behind as we head into the weekend?

Personal News: Gaining Control & Setting Goals

In the Personal News segment, we talked about taking small steps toward gaining control of our lives. From setting boundaries to improving time management, I’m focused on creating a routine that works for me. I also shared how I’m working on boosting my self-esteem and self-worth while taking time to prioritize self-care. Plus, meal planning and creating a schedule that allows for balance are becoming crucial parts of my routine.

Business News: New Steps Forward

Moving into Business News, we discussed some exciting updates in my business journey. This week, I reached out to one of the high schools in the Clover Park School District about our video yearbook service, and I plan to email more schools next week. This is a great step forward, and I’m excited to bring something special to students through personalized video yearbooks.

I’m also focusing on improving my Talk 'Radio' and D&J Show pre-recording schedule, aiming for more consistency and quality in the shows. As for the future, I’m working on business goals, including getting a business license to ensure everything is legally set up and expanding my services.

Sports Talk: March Madness & NFL Offseason Moves

In Sports Talk, we dove into the March Madness action with some major upsets shaking up the brackets! Colorado State (12) took down Memphis (5), and Iowa State (3) crushed Lipscomb (14), among other surprises. The tournament is in full swing, and we’re all on the edge of our seats!

We also looked at the NFL offseason, where teams are making big moves, including Brandin Cooks returning to the Saints and Aaron Rodgers potentially joining the Steelers. And with WrestleMania 41 right around the corner, the excitement is building for some huge matchups!

World News: Global Tensions & Climate Change

In World News, we took a closer look at the Middle East crisis, with tensions escalating between Syria, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. We also discussed how climate change is shaping global policies, particularly in the wake of the Paris Climate Agreement and China’s carbon footprint.

There’s a lot to unpack when it comes to international relations and the future of our planet. From climate change initiatives to political shifts in Brazil and Argentina, these topics are critical to understanding how our world is evolving in 2025.

Movie Talk: Sonic 3 & the Box Office Buzz

In Movie Talk, we checked out what’s hot at the box office, from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 dominating the charts to Dune: Part Two keeping fans excited. I also gave my own Sonic 3 review—how does it compare to the first two films? We also debated whether Hollywood is lacking in original blockbusters or if sequels and reboots are here to stay.

TV Talk: Severance Renewal & Must-Watch Shows

In the TV Talk segment, we discussed the huge renewal of Severance for Season 3. With fans still reeling from the Season 2 finale, there’s a lot of speculation about what Season 3 will bring. I also shared this weekend’s must-watch shows, including Severance, The Residence, and The Consultant.

We ended the segment with a fun debate on whether we’re ready for new franchises or if we’re stuck in an endless cycle of sequels and reboots.

That’s a Wrap!

As we wrapped up tonight’s show, I encouraged you all to take a moment to reflect on your week, enjoy your weekend, and keep striving toward your goals. Whether it’s business goals, personal growth, or just catching up on TV shows, remember that every step counts.
