Welcome to Crow’s Nest! This blog is where I’ll be sharing the highs and lows of my entrepreneurial journey, documenting the growth of CrowRules Entertainment—my business dedicated to creating engaging video content, live streaming, and building communities. It’s a space to reflect on my experiences, offer insights, and hopefully connect with others who are on a similar path.

Why "Crow’s Nest"?

A crow’s nest is a place of vision and perspective. Traditionally found high up on a ship, it's the spot where someone can keep an eye on the horizon, spotting potential obstacles, opportunities, and new directions. For me, the crow’s nest represents a vantage point—a place where I can step back and look at my journey from a higher perspective. It's a reminder to always be aware of where I’ve been, where I am, and where I want to go.

Just like a crow builds its nest by gathering twigs from all around, I’m collecting pieces of my own story. Every experience, every challenge, and every success is a part of building something stronger, more resilient, and more meaningful. This blog is a way for me to share that journey with you.

The evolution of my shows: Updates on Talk "Radio", Gaming Live Streams, and potential future projects that I’m excited to explore.

Where I Am Now

Right now, my focus is on expanding my work in video yearbooks for schools, event videography, and growing my YouTube live streaming projects—like my Talk "Radio" episodes and Gaming Live Streams. I’m also working on The D&J Show – Season 3, which is a tribute to Daniel Meeker, someone who meant a lot to me and had a big impact on my journey. Creating this show is an emotional process, and I’m pouring everything I have into making it something meaningful.

But my journey isn’t just about my business. I also wear the hat of caregiver—I take care of my elderly mother and my mentally handicapped brother. It’s a responsibility I take seriously, but it can be difficult to balance with running a business. Some days, it feels like there just isn’t enough time in the day to do it all. But every day is a step forward, and I keep moving forward because I know I’m building something that matters.

On top of all of this, I’m also dealing with depression, anxiety, and stress. These are personal battles that I face every day, and they often make things harder than they need to be. There are days when it feels like the weight is too much, and it’s hard to find the motivation to keep going. But I’ve learned that acknowledging these challenges and taking things one day at a time is key to overcoming them. This blog will not only be about my business journey but also about navigating life’s emotional complexities—because they are part of who I am, too.

What’s Next?

Looking ahead, I want Crow’s Nest to be a place of growth, reflection, and connection. I’ll be documenting the journey of turning CrowRules Entertainment into the business I envision. I’ll share what I’m learning, the mistakes I make, and the victories along the way.

But this blog is also about more than just business. It’s about personal growth, overcoming challenges, and building something that can have a lasting impact. I’m excited to continue creating Talk "Radio" episodes, expanding my Gaming Live Streams, and exploring new show ideas. As time goes on, I hope to share more personal stories, dive deeper into topics related to mental health, and possibly create shows that address some of the bigger questions we all face in life.
